PayPal has just collaborated with MoonPay. This is the seamless fiat-to-crypto experience for all PayPal users in the U.S. and abroad. According to PayPal “The integration streamlines transactions for new MoonPay users who have PayPal already and use it for online transactions”. I’d believe making this isn’t a bad collaboration to bring more easement to MoonPay users as well as risk precaution for both sides. This is done without manually entering all of your information. Benefiting from the privacy and safety policies of Papal, which does not share full financial information for a transaction.
A few words from MoonPay Co- founder and CEO, Ivan Soto-Wright…”Now more than ever consumers are exploring different avenues of financial system-whether that be crypto, retail investing, or digital banking and this partnership underscores our deep commitment to collaborating with trusted partners in the ecosystem to expand their access.”
That was well placed by the young entrepreneur and investor. Now getting down to the points at hand while we were also interested in crypto integration as a whole for our company. We might start accepting crypto as a payment option later down the line ourselves. There’s always things to look forward to on our end.
Key benefits according to the MoonPay / PayPal merger.
Flexibility and choice: MoonPay offers users an extensive array of payment methods, now including PayPal.
Variety in token support: You can choose the various types of crypto currencies used.
Convenience and speed: MoonPay users can fund purchases with PayPal without the need to set up additional accounts or enter new payment info.
Seamless on-boarding: For existing PayPal users, making your first purchase with MoonPay is now easier than ever.
Another feature we think is neat is their Low fee Exchange Crypto Cross-Chain functionality. “MoonPay’s non-custodial crypto swap platform, available for exchange with no processing fee”. However you might encounter some network fees of course. A minor note for doing business. Last but not least a place to store your NFT’s and trade those there as well.
We're pretty excited about this merger. Can’t wait to see what else unfolds.
